WHAT IS THE HIRING PROCESS AFTER SUBMITTING A CV THROUGH RINA WEB?
Application
Create your Candidate profile, using the RINA Online Résumé Builder, entering the required data and enclosing the file of your CV(only .doc, .pdf, .txt files and maximum size accepted no more than 300 kB). Please submit your CV in English or Italian, only.
Upon successful completion of your profile, the tool displays a message acknowledging your candidate profile. The tool also sends an e-mail confirming the receipt of your candidate profile.
By submitting your CV, you will be registered in our candidate database.
Selection
Once your CV has been entered in the RINA candidate database, it is available to perform searches for specific education, experience, etc. requirements.
A limited number of candidates, depending on the roles available, personal characteristics, education, experience, etc. will be invited to a job interview. In any case, you must meet all the criteria to be considered for a specific position.
If selected for a job interview, you will receive a phone call from our support staff to gather more information and documents about your qualifications and to make the necessary arrangements for your job interview. If you are not contacted within a three-month period, you will receive in any case, a registration and thank you e-mail.
Interview
Your interview could include questions and clarifications on items of your CV, a technical discussion of the projects you have worked on, general problem-solving or written tests. The types of questions you will be asked, will vary depending on the position you are contacted for.
After your interview, within a two-month period, you will be notified, in writing, if you have been selected or not for the position. Please keep in mind that being on the list of eligible candidates does not mean you will be selected for a position; it indicates that you are technically suitable for the position.
HOW DO I REMOVE MY CANDIDATE PROFILE INFORMATION FROM THE RINA DATABASE?
If you want to remove your contact information or Résumé / CV from our system, please send an e-mail (subject line: CV REMOVAL) to careers@rina.org and include the following information with your request:
-Your first and last name
-Your date and place of birth
-Your e-mail address
as supplied at the time of your application.
HOW LONG IS MY CV KEPT ON FILE?
We will keep your Résumé active in our database for twelve months. If you are still interested in employment, you may submit an updated Résumé after this twelve-month period.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO FORMAT MY CV?
The file of your CV is to be only .doc, .pdf, .txt file type. Maximum size accepted is no more than 300kB. Please submit your CV in English or in Italian, avoid special formatting, various fonts, bold type, italic type, underlining, etc. Be sure that your contact information is accurate and complete (i.e. e-mail, phone, address, etc.).
