The RINA Group is recognised nationally and internationally, through its wealth of skills, as able to provide services aimed at improving the quality of life, safety and protection of the environment. It is also accredited by the main accreditation bodies and notified by the competent Ministries to operate according to the most important EU Directives for the issue of CE marking.
ACCREDIA, INMETRO: certification of quality, environment, workplace health and safety management systems
ANSF: independent safety audits in the railway sector
BRC: agricultural and food product certification
FEE Italia: verification on the conformity of technical requirements for the issues of Green Key International Environmental Trademark to tourist accommodation structures
FORMAWORK: integrated certification for sports facilities - QIS HEPA 10000 series
FTA, WRAP e FFP: social audits
IATF: car production sector quality management systems certification - CISQ/Automotive
ISPRA: environmental audits in accordance with EMAS regulation
ITSMF: IT service supply management systems IT - ISO 20000
NABCB: quality management systems certification cards (for RINA India Pvt. Ltd).
SAAS: certification of social accountability management systems
SWEDAC: pre-certification and validation of Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)

UNIFE: certification of quality management systems in the railway sector
RINA is also a member of the CISQ (Italian certification of company management systems) Federation, which brings together the main national certification bodies and adheres to the international agreement IQNET (The International Certification Network), which represents the biggest international network of management system certification for quality, environment and safety.
RINA is notified by the competent Ministries for periodical and non routine lift inspections (DPR 162/99) and earthing systems (DPR 462/01).
RINA operates on behalf of over 70 flag administrations. In the EU zone, in agreement with Regulation CE/391/2009 and Directive 2009/15/CE; Outside the EU zone in accordance with the IMO provisions International Maritime Organization).
Certifying Authority on behalf of all the flags of the Red Ensign Group for the audit and certification on conformity with the Marine Guidance Note MGN 280 of the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency). Certifying Authority on behalf of the Administration of Luxembourg, the Marshall Islands, Malta and others for the issuing of certifications for commercial yachts.
Test laboratory Accredited by ACCREDIA DL and DT as laboratory and calibration centre for material testing equipment, indicated by the IMO as national reference laboratory for testing according to the FTP Code - IMO resolution MSC.61(67). Authorised by the Ministry of the Interior, in accordance with Ministerial Decree dated 26 March 1985, to operate in the field of fire resistance and fire reaction of materials according to Directive 89/106/EC and to Ministerial Decree dated 26 June 1984.
