Role specifications:
* Exclusive Marine Surveyors to RINA;
* Work location are West Coast and North East USA.
Candidate education and specifications:
* Formal education in Marine Engineering or Technical School Diploma in Marine Engineering;
* Practical and theoretical knowledge of hull, machinery, materials, equipment and safety systems of ships;
* Physically able to work in confined spaces, hazardous atmospheres, extreme temperatures and weather conditions, etc. and therefore being not suffering from allergies, vertigo, claustrophobia, etc.;
* Willing to travel extensively and frequently within the USA and North, Central and South America;
* USA nationality or USA permanent resident (green card holder) or Canadian nationality;
* Prior experience in classification surveys, experience on board ships as first or chief engineer or experience in shipyards are preferred.
Personal skills and abilities:
* Good knowledge of English;
* Computer literate in Windows applications;
* Good communication skills;
* Ability to work in a team and on tight schedules.
