This unique certification is issued by RINA under strict Halal food standard requirements and approved by the internationally reputed Islamic institution after a detailed process, product assessment and analysis and accredited by International Halal Integrity (IHI) Malaysia.
The certified product can thus be identified by a special Halal mark which makes it stand out and gives it immediate visibility to the end consumer. Against a background of increasing attention to the health aspects of food products and a product’s particular characteristics, such as origin, production techniques, ingredients, formulas, this instrument enables the consumer to be guaranteed that the product is Halal.
RINA HALAL CERTIFICATION SCOPE:
The certification scope of activities under Halal food product certification includes but is not limited to: slaughtering of Halal animals, abattoirs, food production or preparation, transformation, manufacturing, packing, pharmaceutical production, cosmetic production, packaging material, storage, transport, distribution, handling etc.
